Round Table in Hepplewhite Style

George Hepplewhite, English cabinetmaker, †1786 in London.
The name Hepplewhite is used to describe an English style of furniture that originated with Hepplewhite but was developed by several workshops. It was first influenced by Adam and Chippendale and then developed towards greater lightness and elegance compared to the Chippendale style, probably under the influence of French furniture art.
Modification:
The second picture shows a design example. Here, the pedestal leg has been shortened in order to use the table as a coffee table. The wood was stained and then antique wax was added to give the piece a more aged look. (Photo by @velvet.rabbit.miniatures)
